The Food Bank is gearing up for our next signature event, the Fight Hunger 5K and Fun Run, taking place on Saturday, April 27th at the picturesque Oak Brook Reserve. Whether you walk or run across the finish line, you will find food trucks, music, and family fun waiting for you!
Looking for a unique volunteer opportunity? We need a lot of volunteers to make this event happen. Race day opportunities include serving as a Course Marshall, water station aide, mile marker attendance, packet pick-up table volunteer, photographer and more!
There will not be a regular food sorting and packing shift at our Geneva Center on that date so we encourage volunteers that live in the Kane and DuPage County area to sign up to volunteer at the Fight Hunger event!
