Northern Illinois Food Bank partners with WeGo Together for Kids and Northwestern Medicine for a monthly Rx Mobile food distribution at Timber Lake Apartments. This mobile provides nutritious food items such as eggs, lean meat, dairy, and produce, especially for families of those dealing with chronic illness. Volunteers will help with set-up, distributing food, and other duties as needed. Bilingual speaking proficiency in Spanish and English is very helpful, but not required.
