The Long Grove Turkey Trot 5K & 8K – Volunteer Information

It’s time for the Annual Long Grove Turkey Trot 5K & 8K!

Returning this year on Thanksgiving morning, the Food Bank seeks willing and enthusiastic volunteers to come out and support this event! Gather your flock and come support this event, which benefits Northern Illinois Food Bank. The Food Bank will receive a $1,000 donation if at least 35 volunteers sign up to help on race day. Start a new tradition this year!

On Thanksgiving morning each year, All Community Events hosts an Annual Turkey Trot and YOU and your family and friends are invited to join the excitement as a volunteer! 

WHEN – Thanksgiving morning from 6:30am to 10:30am
WHERE – 308 Old McHenry Rd, Long Grove, IL 60047
WHO – Upon arrival, volunteers are to meet an All Community Events crew member underneath the red registration tents.

Race day volunteer opportunities include Registration Assistant, Post-Race Registration/Food, Course Marshal, and Water Station Attendant.  

Please sign up by the Wednesday before Thanksgiving!
