OUTDOOR - Special Meal Box Distribution to Help Our Neighbors
The Food Bank, in conjunction with For Greater Elgin, invite volunteers to come help load pre-packed boxes into vehicle trunks or backseats and directing traffic flow of vehicles in and out of the parking lot.
Anyone in the community that may need a little extra help during this time is welcome to attend. No ID is needed for neighbors receiving food.
Volunteer Parking:
- Please enter campus entrance off of Spartan Drive.
- Park in LOT G nearest Chipman Circle Drive or in LOT K and walk to volunteer check-in area.
- Check in at volunteer table when you arrive.
THIS EVENT WILL BE OUTSIDE! Dress for the weather - bring a hat, gloves, scarf, and jacket.
Wear comfy walking shoes as you will be on your feet the entire time. There are no sit-down tasks.
