Help welcome and check-in neighbors to our Neighborhood Market in Rockford!
Volunteers will assist with checking in neighbors who arrive to shop the market for groceries. This will provide a great deal of support for our Neighborhood Market team and offer the opportunity to provide another welcoming face for our neighbors when they arrive for their first time or if they shop weekly. A comfort using computers and an inability to work in a busy, changing environment is a must for this volunteer opportunity.
What is required?
Volunteers will utilize the Link2Feed software to check neighbors in for their shopping visit, set up new accounts, update neighbor account information, and assist with account-related issues. Training will be provided but a general knowledge of how to use computers and systems is preferred. Volunteer must sign a Link2Feed privacy agreement at the beginning of their first shift.
This is an indoor, seated task. An ability to converse in Spanish is helpful.
Please check out this opportunity if you are interested in volunteering on a weekly basis, at least.
